We're casting performers to act out everyday household scenarios that explore how people and voice-based AI assistants work together. You'll build natural, unscripted scenes with another performer in paid 4-hour studio sessions. These sessions are recorded to train AI models. Recordings are never published or shared publicly.

Why this project
Real conversation is spontaneous: people pause, clarify, change course, and respond to the moment. Skilled performers can create the range of natural interactions AI models need to learn from, and that no script can capture.
Two complementary roles
Perform either the person doing a household chore or the voice-based AI assistant helping them, with role assignments determined during casting.
Built around improvisation
Use timing, listening, and creative choices to make each scenario feel natural rather than scripted or staged.
Recorded for AI training only
Your sessions are recorded so AI models can learn from natural human interaction. Recordings are used exclusively for model training and are never published or shared publicly.

Who this project is for
- Age 18 or older
- Located in or able to work in person in Columbus, Ohio
- Available for at least one 4-hour in-person recording session
- Acting, improv, or closely related unscripted performance experience
- A publicly accessible link to an example of your performance work (audition tape, reel, or portfolio)
- Comfortable performing natural household scenes on camera
- Able to listen, adapt, and build believable scenes with another performer

What should I include with my application?
Share a publicly accessible link to an example of your performance work. This can be an audition tape, a reel, a recorded scene, or a portfolio. It can be newly recorded or existing work. Bonus points if you portray a person doing chores with help from a voice-based AI assistant.
What performance experience do I need?
We're looking for performers with acting, improv, or closely related unscripted performance experience. You should be comfortable creating believable scenes, responding in the moment, and taking direction.
What roles will actors perform?
One performer will play a person completing everyday chores with AI assistance. Another will perform the voice of the AI assistant, responding to and guiding the person through each scenario. Casting will determine role assignments.
How much does the project pay?
The rate is $50 per hour. Final hours, compensation terms, and payment details will be confirmed with selected performers before recording begins.
How long are the sessions?
Sessions run about 4 hours each. Some performers may be invited to multiple sessions depending on availability and project needs. Exact dates and call times are confirmed during casting.
How will the recordings be used?
Sessions are recorded to train AI models. Recordings will not be published, broadcast, or shared publicly, and are used only for model training. Recording details, consent, and data use will be explained in full before selected performers agree to participate.
